Charlotte Vincent worked with a group from Thrive Dance Academy, which is an intervention project for young people living in Surrey who are NEET (16-18 yrs and not in education, employment or training); at risk of exclusion from school or are excluded.
TDA is a programme for young people in need of a positive alternative education experience where they can build their confidence in learning.
Young people are taught in a nurturing environment in order that the students can face the demands placed on them by the course.
This event provides a platform where to students are able to celebrate in their personal achievements amongst the support of people who are interested in their future and care about their wellbeing. The programme enables young people to safely build trust with adults, take part and commit to a process, the results of which they share with others through a celebratory graduation dance performance, which was Directed by Charlotte Vincent.
