Tim Strickland

Tim Strickland has worked extensively in the arts and creative sectors as a manager of recording studios and musicians and as founder of innovative, creative, education resources, Red Tape Studies and the National Centre for Popular Music. Born in York, he studied at Coventry Poly before coming to Sheffield n the early 1980s to set up Red Tape Studios for Sheffield City Council. Tim’s expertise is in business planning, the development of funding proposals and project and budget management. He particularly enjoys working at the interface of innovation, creativity and business, helping and supporting others to create and disseminate their work to new audiences. Tim currently works at Sheffield Hallam University. He has 3 children.
