Fernanda has a Masters Degree in Arts from London Contemporary School. She has been a performer for 20 years working with companies such as Punchdrunk, Jasmin Vardimon, Protein, Vincent Dance Theatre, Stan Won’t dance, Theatre Rites, Quasar. She has also worked in theatre productions at The Globe Theatre, Regents Park Theatre and National Theatre, including with directors Lucy Bailey and Tom Morris.

Her longest partnership has being with Punchdrunk Company where she performed for 8 years in many productions. In 2013 she took over the role as rehearsal director and assistant director for the company and has been collaborating with them ever since.

Fernanda is also a movement director and has been awarded a commission from Horniman Museum to create a short piece based on Brazilian and England cultural differences and similarities. She has choreographed works for Mountview Academy of Arts, CAT Programme Laban and The Place, and has been leading several workshops in the UK ranging from dance classes to physical theatre practices.

Fernanda is also a yoga practitioner and tutor at Trinity Laban and mentors various companies as a movement coach.

In 2016 Fernanda is working with Charlotte Vincent as rehearsal director for Vincent Dance Theatre production VIRGIN TERRITORY.
