Dinos Aristidou

Dinos Aristidou is a playwright, director and consultant who specialises in working with educators, communities and young people, both in the UK and internationally. He is an Artistic Director for the International Schools Theatre Association working with young people all over the world and a curriculum consultant for the International Baccalaureate.
He was Education, Youth, Participation Manager at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff and he has worked as Development Officer for Children and Young People as well as Creative Learning Programme Manager at the Arts Council of England, South East.
As a playwright his plays have been produced by The Nuffield in Southampton, Contact in Manchester and Forest Forge as part of strategic touring South East. He has worked with a number of organisations in the UK, directing large scale work with young people for Birmingham Royal Ballet and Watford Palace Theatre.
Dinos is Creative Learning Director of UCAN Productions, currently runs the ‘Writing for Performance’ Programme (New Writing South and Theatre Royal Brighton) and is writer-in-residence at Mayflower Theatre, Southampton for 2017-18.
He is also a board member and trustee of the Zich Trust and Theatre Versus Oppression.
